All content will be recorded (with the permission of the presenter) and posted on our YouTube channel. Every afternoon or evening I will send a link to the videos we uploaded to the YouTube channel along with the link for the Zoom meeting. We have set up the Zoom meeting as a recurring meeting so the link you find below that I am sending today will work any day this coming week.
Very big news on guest speakers: Just this past Thursday, we added Mary Cain to our lineup this year!
All of our speakers will be taking questions so please come ready with any type of question for any of our speakers. Nate Jenkins kicks off the week tomorrow and will literally answer any question posed to him so get creative.
Our junior counselors will also be offering Yoga sessions (Monday and Wednesday) and core sessions (Tuesday and Thursday) in the afternoons. We also have one of our junior counselors putting together plans for video game tournaments, group chats, etc. in the evenings. Please know that you are not required to attend every session we offer. Take the opportunity to watch what you think is going to help you as a student-athlete and what you will enjoy.
To be sure, this will not be the same experience as being at Camp for the week with your teammates, friends, camp friends, and all the people you get to know and become friends with throughout the week but all the staff wanted to offer some kind of Camp experience. Our summers wouldn't be the same without Camp in our lives somehow.
I want to remind everyone: Our Camp Chef is offering the recipes to your favorite meals if you make a donation of at least $5 to the charity or non-profit of your choice. All you need to do is send me an email showing the donation was made and you will get the Granite State Running Camp "Cookbook" sent to your email within 48 hours. There are a lot of organizations out there that have struggled with fundraising during this pandemic and they could use your help. PDF booklets will be emailed out starting on Monday, August 10 but you may send your donation receipts any time you want. We have already received a number of donation emails. Thank you for your generosity to those causes!
